Fly Fishing
Rocky Mountain Waters
As a Texaradoan, I grew up fly fishing rocky Mountain waters in Colorado, camping in New Mexico, fly fishing in Montana, Wyoming; catching rainbows in the streams, lakes, and rivers of the Rocky Mountains and throwing them back. To a kid who grew up in in the Panhandle of Texas who never saw a hill higher than a mole without driving Northwest about four hours - the Rocky Mountains provided a great adventure and a ladder to heaven.

The Rocky Mountains alone could keep an angler busily catching and releasing for the rest of one's days. Have you ever been to Basalt Colorado? How about Meeker Colorado? A Brown Trout from the Blue River of Frisco, CO
Just when you think you have it figured out - the weather changes, the hatch changes, the water level changes; one must be adaptable! So many rivers - so little time. The Arkansas, The Rio grande, The Colorado, South Platte, Middle Fork, South Fork, Payette, The Salt, North Platte, The Green, Spinney Reservoir, Gunnison Gorge, The Poudre... on and on and I haven't even touched Canada!
